Brook (OP15-022)

Brook OP15-022 is the control-combo deck of the OP15 format. His Leader effect activates when a Character is KO'd on the field during your opponent's turn: you may attach 1 DON!! to the Leader. This passive DON!! generation rewards you for surviving the opponent's attacks and turning their aggression into your resource advantage. Blue/Yellow gives access to the best stall and card-cycling tools combined with Yellow's life recovery, creating a deck that can absorb significant damage while slowly outresourcing the opponent. The win condition is a late-game Luffy OP15-092 finisher supported by massive DON!! accumulation from Brook's passive ability.

Tips for playing Brook

1. 1

   EB02-017 Nami is the most important mulligan card. Without any copy, mulligan aggressively — the deck needs to see OP15-092 Luffy before the final turn.

2. 2

   Let the opponent KO your non-key Characters to trigger Brook's DON!! generation. Not every Character needs to be protected — some are there to trade favorably and generate DON!!.

3. 3

   Blue bounce tools are best used on the opponent's Blockers, not their attackers. Clearing Blockers before your final swing turn maximizes the damage from OP15-092 Luffy's Double Attack.

4. 4

   Yellow life recovery extends the game to where Brook's DON!! accumulation reaches critical mass. Don't rush the game — the longer it goes, the more DON!! advantage you have.

5. 5

   Against Enel: Brook cannot KO immune Enel Characters through effects. Rely on Blue bounce (return to hand) to deal with Enel's 6-cost pieces and focus on winning the resource war.
